Where did December Go?

Wow! It is hard to believe that December has come and gone and now we are into a new year. We have officially finished the first half of the school year and kicking off the second half. Halftime is a time of reflection.  Paul "Bear: Bryant said, "Don't give up at half time. Concentrate on winning the second half." Many times we feel good about the first half of play. Unfortunately, this often results in letting up or letting our guard down. The next thing you know you are loosing. Other times we are loosing at halftime and we make some calculated adjustments and end up ahead. Your success in the second half often has to do with your attitude.

Mahatma Gandhi said, “Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behavior. Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.” We often cannot control what is going on around us. How we handle what is going on around us is the difference.

Sometimes at halftime, all we need is a pep talk.
